Within my visual work, I seek to connect sculpture with painting and drawing. The reason I want to
connect these different media is to create an image that, just like music, vibrates and fills a
room thus being more than a mere two dimensional image. I focus my attention on electronic music.
It interests me that this relatively new way of making music, no instruments are necessary to create
an experience or expression. Only electronic devises and samples taken from reality are used. This revers
also back to my reason for using different media to make an image. I also “sample” these media to question
their nature and tradition and look for the gray areas between them to look for new ways of expressing
an idea.
